Confluence Image from location =============================== PlantUML images can be "Inserted" info confluence in several ways. Insert files and images - Attached to this page ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ A plantuml diagram can be attached as an image file per any other image file using the "Insert files and images - Attached to this page" option. Insert files and images - Images from the web ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Confluence images can be inserted via a URL i.e. "Images from the web". This URL could be e.g. #. An image from bitbucket where the source code is also stored (the URL for the raw file would be used) #. An :ref:`Encoding URL for PlantUML Server for source and diagram` where Confluence invokes the URL to the PlantUML Server, and the PlantUML Server returns the associated image. .. note :: For :ref:`Encoding URL for PlantUML Server for source and diagram`, if the source is edited, a new URL will be created so you will need to "Insert files and images - Images from the web" again for the new diagram to be displayed on the Confluence page.
